I am happy to confirm that OXFORD REIKI has adjusted to the post-lockdown government and UK Reiki Federation safety requirements.
My practice room is large and airy, so 2 meters distancing is not a problem and means wearing a mask can be optional during the consultation or teaching part of the sessions.
During hands-on treatments however, I personally wear a KN 95 mask + visor, but leave it up to you whether you wear a mask or not - please choose whatever makes you feel relaxed and comfortable so you can get optimal benefit from your treatment.
I only see one client or student at a time, and always leave gaps between people’s appointments for hygienic reasons.

Those of you who have received Reiki from me before, or are familiar with Distance Healing or with energy work in general, are very welcome to continue receiving DISTANCE HEALING if they prefer. Not only does Distance Reiki work just as well as hands-on, but it is a very PRACTICAL, TIME SAVING, SAFE way of receiving healing in these difficult times.

Please note that Oxford Reiki is now open for 40-minute DISTANCE TREATMENTS both BEFORE and AFTER WORKING HOURS in case you cannot take time off during the day, as well as 10am-5pm at weekends.
You should be able to get an appointment at reasonably SHORT NOTICE.

I started OXFORD REIKI in 2008, after qualifying as a Reiki Master/Teacher with Reiki Evolution in 2007. I have been a registered member of the UK Reiki Federation (UKRF) for 11 years.
In 2009 a serious health problem put an end to my other practice as a Holistic Massage Therapist, which had become too physically demanding.This turned out to be an incredible blessing, as it enabled me to explore in much greater depth this very beautiful, potent and versatile healing energy which I find just as fascinating and inspiring 13 years on...

THE O.R OBJECTIVE
This includes:
- Allowing students to absorb the course contents and new energies at their own pace through one-to-one* teaching method I have developed since 2008.
- Helping students from Reiki 2 (Practitioner Level) to Reiki 4 (Teacher Level) develop their confidence and competence via a number of enjoyable Case Study assignments **, for which they receive ongoing feedback from me.
- Encouraging students to develop their unique connections with Reiki and explore every aspect of it, including the spiritual dimension, which to me is Reiki's most important gift to mankind.
- Giving people who did a Reiki course in the past -with myself or someone else- but stopped using Reiki, a chance to have the beautiful energy back in their lives. O.R offers one-to-one Refresher Courses which help you catch up and continue on your Reiki journey without having to start all over again.

* If you vibe with the O.R approach but need to complete the course in a shorter time and/or at lower cost, you may be able to join one of my occasional workshops. Alternatively, doing Reiki Level 1 one-to-one over two days is also possible. Staying at the house overnight can be arranged for a reasonable price if you don’t live in Oxford. Please ask me for details.
**Since not everyone wants to become a Practitioner, you are very welcome to do the Reiki 2 Level without doing the formal Case Studies. If all you want is to strengthen your practice and understanding of Self Reiki, Distance Healing, and giving Reiki to others (you will be practising informally on myself and your friends/ relatives), this is probably the best format for you.
At the end of the course, you will receive your Reiki 2 Certificate of Attendance (as opposed to the Practitioner Certificate. Reiki 2 Practitioner Certificates are only compulsory if you want to give Reiki professionally or as a volunteer in hospitals/ hospices, and be covered by an insurance).
The same applies to Reiki 3. If Reiki is very special to you but you do not want or have time to do formal Case Studies, I will be very happy to take you through Level 3 so you can still explore the deep self-healing and spiritual content of that level.
Please note that although Case Studies are not compulsory, keeping a Reiki /self-healing journal is essential. Again this option means you will get your Reiki 3 Certificate of Attendance, as opposed to the Reiki 3 Master Practitioner Certificate.
REIKI CHANGES LIVES
Whether you just receive a taster session, a course of treatments or some Distance Healing; whether you study the short self-healing course or all 4 Reiki Levels and become a Teacher, provided you have an open mind and an open heart, you are likely to get deeply touched by Reiki, as millions of people already are worldwide.
Why?
Students sometimes look at me in disbelief when I say that healing does not always come from a place of Love... (remember Rasputin?)
Well, Reiki IS Love, the energy of pure Unconditional Love, and in my eyes, one of the most precious gifts to mankind.

REIKI AND SELF-HEALING
An important difference between Reiki and some other forms of healing is the practice of Self-Healing. Central to the Reiki practice, self healing is simple, instant and very effective, whatever your age and physical, emotional or spiritual background or issues.
Important Note: If sadly 'our time has come', or some huge crisis which we have a lot to learn from is hitting us, Reiki cannot and will not magically take it away from us, but Reiki being the wonderful Loving energy that it is, will always help us cope better, cope with the pain, cope with the fear, help us find our own inner peace and grow spiritually from our crises.
